KESALEHAN EKOLOGIS MASYARAKAT MUSLIM PEKANBARU: STUDI TERHADAP HADIS DALAM UPAYA MEMINIMALISIR KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

Pekanbaru is a city with several environmental problems, such as waste and land fires. Even in ISPU data (Air Pollution Standards Index) on October 19, 2015, air quality in Pekanbaru city was categorized as very dangerous, reaching 799gramsm/m, and disease data in Pekanbaru city itself due to smog in 2015 was among the highest with the number of sufferers. ISPA has as many as 3,254 people with a percentage of 86.6% compared to other diseases. On the other hand, the people of Pekanbaru began to experience development from the religious side. This can be seen from the increasing number of Islamic-based schools and routine Islamic recitations that are increasingly prevalent in mosques, especially studies in the field of hadith. Of course, it will increase their understanding of Islam. Therefore, this study will examine (1) How the concept of the hadith of the Prophet. Related to the command to protect the environment and (2) How is the ecological piety of the Pekanbaru Muslim community by reviewing their understanding of the hadith to avoid environmental damage? This study uses a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. With this research, it is hoped that it will be able to give a warning to the Muslim community of Pekanbaru to be able to make the hadith as guidelines for protecting the environment so that a better and cleaner environment is obtained.
