Licensi & Copyright Notice

Since Harmoni began operating online through the Open Journal System (OJS) in 2017, specifically in volume 16, issue 1, the journal applied the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) 4.0 license. However, in 2024, starting with volume 23, issue 1, Harmoni decided to update its license to Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) 4.0. This change aims to provide more flexibility for readers and researchers in utilizing the published works. The new license allows for the adaptation, modification, and creation of derivative works from the articles, as long as proper attribution is given, the work is not used for commercial purposes, and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

In addition to the license change, the copyright of the articles has also been updated. Previously, the copyright was held by the journal, but starting from volume 23, issue 1, in 2024, the copyright is transferred to the authors. With this change, authors have full control over their works, while the publication still adheres to the applicable licensing terms. It is hoped that these changes in licensing and copyright will make the publications more accessible, broaden the impact of the research, and provide greater recognition to the authors within the academic community.
