PROBLEMATIKA PENERAPAN JAMINAN PRODUK HALAL DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS TATA KELOLA HALAL

Abstract

This study aims to identify the problems faced in the framework of implementing halal product assurance in Indonesia and to develop solutions based on expert judgment using the Analytical Network Process method. The long-term goal is to gradually resolve the problem of implementing halal product guarantees, starting with the most priority. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) by inviting academics and experts. The analysis technique uses the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method to model the problem of implementing halal product assurance in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the problems are categorized into four dimensions, namely: infrastructure (authorized capital/ infrastructure/HR implementation of halal product guarantee); technical (things outside the JPH infrastructure); regulations (regulation in the field of halal); and inter-relationships (relationships between institutions that manage halal product guarantees). The most priority dimension is the infrastructure dimension, with a score of 0.297. The derivative of the most priority problem is that the coordination between stakeholders for halal assurance is not good. This research is the first comprehensive study that discusses the mapping of implementing halal product assurance in Indonesia.
