The objectives to be achieved in this research are; (1) analyzing religious information content and products, (2) elaborating critical factors for the dissemination of religious information and (3) synergizing models and strategies for disseminating religious information. This research was conducted at the Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. Starting from June 2018-February 2019. The subjects in this study were students aged 18-22 years, who actively use social media in two different fields, namely students from the Da’wah Faculty and General Faculty students with 5 students for each subject. each Faculty. Selection of interviewees was elected using the snowball method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction (sorting, focusing), data display (presentation), and drawing conclusions.The results showed that; (1) the resource person feels that the material / content that needs to be shared is the content of religious issues and political issues. Most of the sources have not been able to make religious information themselves. The informant only reposted religious information which he considered good to be shared by creating photos, written content, creating special accounts and making quotes, (2) the challenges of disseminating religious information according to the informants were; Reposted content contains controversy, content raises multiple interpretations, content that is often used as a hoax, shares innovative creative content, and deals with political issues. The interviewees saw a critical factor in the dissemination of religious information, namely the problem of individual capacity and attitudes or responses to diversity and hoaxes, (3) in an effort to disseminate religious information, the resource person used several models: the distribution of videos and articles. Some of the strategies for disseminating religious information are carried out in language that is easily accepted, with interesting content, using emoticons and captions, with personal chat to help disseminate it, and to be disseminated during prime time.
